Why I hired a professional photographer | Aleen Karakashian Photography | Lilburn, Georgia

Earlier this year, my family and I went on a vacation (pre-covid!)

While packing, I planned to take professional photos of our vacation and make an album! We had invested time and money into a nice family vacation, I wanted our good times to linger in a family album. Naturally, as a professional photographer myself, I brought my camera, lenses and tripod with me! Not only are they heavy, but i also started hearing complaints from certain family members about taking more pictures.

Second day into the vacation, I bring my equipment to the pier and … we smile! Just as soon as we take the first shots, I realize the yoga class at the end of the pier are being dismissed, which means, everyone is now behind us in the pictures, the kids want to run, I’m getting frustrated, my husband is getting impatient…I quit!

But I remember telling myself “I don’t want to be frustrated with pictures on our family vacation!”

Hours later, i found out the hotel had a professional photographer on staff, I talk to him and immediately set up a session for the next morning. EASY PEASY! All we had to do was look our best! No hassle, no equipment, and no snack bribes.

Thirty minutes in, we were done. We had loads of fun and enjoyed some rain on the beach!

I met with the photographer later, chose the photos I loved, purchased the album I wanted while he designed it for me, and placed the order. Before we left to go back home, I had an album in my hand with our professional photos! Hiring him was a easy decision. I knew it would help me reach my goal quicker, with less hassle, happier faces and happier hearts! I was the client, not the photographer. To this day he doesn’t know I am a photographer. And I loved every minute of it!

See, Professional photographers are here to make a few moments in your life easier, memorable, hassle free while you display beautiful artwork around your home. We flipped thru the pages numerous times this year, even more when we’re dreaming of being outdoors and on a beach rather than staying (safe) at home.
